Job summary

Care Center Cincinnati is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures. This fast-paced role requires compassion for animals, clear owner communication, and meticulous documentation.

  • Ensure clean, safe, and efficient hospital operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.

Veterinary Assistant, Emergency

Location: Cincinnati, OH


Schedule: Full Time | 1st shift | 7am-7:30pm | 3 days per week | Rotating Weekends | One On Call Shift Per Month


Compensation: $20-23/hr, Dependent On Experience

In Your Day‑To‑Day, You Will


  • Provide Support to the Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians during exams, procedures and treatments while helping to ensure quality care for all patients

  • Provide pet owners with clear home‑care instructions and updates on hospitalized pets

  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless care

  • Ensure clean, safe, and efficient hospital operations

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments
