Job summary

Care Center Cincinnati is seeking a Veterinary Assistant, Emergency, to support veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures. You will help ensure high-quality patient care, document treatments, and communicate care updates to owners and team members.

We value a positive, team‑oriented attitude, calm focus in a fast-paced setting, and a passion for animal care. Minimum one year of clinical experience and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of clinical experience.
• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
• High school diploma, GED, or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide Support to the Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians during exams, procedures and treatments while helping to ensure quality care for all patients.
• Provide pet owners with clear home-care instructions and updates on hospitalized pets
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless care
• Ensure clean, safe, and efficient hospital operations
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Schedule: Full Time | 1st shift | 7am-7:30pm | 3 days per week | Rotating Weekends | One On Call Shift Per Month

Compensation: $20-23/hr, Dependent On Experience

In Your Day‑To‑Day, You Will
