Job summary

Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, seeks a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to deliver real-time emergency care in a fast-paced setting. You will assess patients, create treatment plans, and work with a collaborative team to ensure top-quality outcomes.

Compensation includes a competitive base with production opportunities, with a PROSAL full-time range starting at $180K/year.

Qualifications

• DVM / VMD or equivalent degree required.
• Active State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the intended state; must be obtained prior to start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating/emergency internships is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients.
• Manage hospitalized cases and oversee treatment plans.
• Assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans in collaboration with technicians.
• Perform surgeries and deliver critical care in the ER.
• Maintain high-quality patient service in the emergency department.
