Job summary

South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join Thrive Pet Healthcare network. You will provide emergency care for sick and injured patients, manage hospitalized cases, assess and diagnose, and work with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care, including surgeries and critical care.

Compensation is competitive with a PROSAL full-time range starting at $180K/year, with production opportunities and no negative accrual.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent required.
• Active SC veterinary license in good standing prior to start date.
• Active DEA license or eligibility.
• Experience in emergency medicine or internships highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients and manage hospitalized cases.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop/oversee treatment plans with technicians.
• Perform surgeries and deliver critical care with high-quality service.
