Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence, MA, is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian for a full-time role. ProSal starting at $160,000+ base, with production potential exceeding $200,000. Rotating schedule up to 14 shifts per month, averaging 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Internship-trained or 2+ years in emergency medicine.
• Experience in soft tissue emergency surgeries is a plus.
• Strong communication and client-centered care.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Have the opportunity to cut a variety of soft-tissue emergency surgical procedures.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
