Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian for our South Deerfield, MA location. This full-time role offers a starting salary of $160,000 to $180,000 with tiered production bonuses, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.

Three 12-hour shifts per week ensure a balanced schedule within a busy hospital network. You will deliver high-quality emergency care, triage, stabilize patients, and work with a collaborative team across internal medicine, surgery, and critical care.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree and eligibility for state licensure.
• Completion of rotating internship or 2+ years' emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent/emergent cases.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care with handling new cases, triage, and hospitalized patients.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
• Conduct soft tissue emergency surgeries.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams for seamless care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners in stressful situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
