Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is hiring an Emergency Veterinarian in Massachusetts. You’ll handle a broad spectrum of emergencies, from routine cases to complex surgeries, with a supportive mentorship culture and a focus on growth.

Responsibilities

• Answer medical questions over the phone and triage patients as part of VEG processes.
• Gather signalment, presenting complaints, vitals, and physical exams for each case.
• Perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures as needed.
• Prepare estimates and present them to clients with clear explanations.
• Create and review medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Educate clients on aftercare, prognosis, and follow-up steps.
