Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is hiring an Emergency Veterinarian to provide exceptional emergency care for pets. You’ll handle a wide range of cases, including surgeries and diagnostics, within a mentorship-focused environment that emphasizes learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Live and breathe emergency medicine; ready for fast-paced ER cases.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 kg, with assistance for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Answer medical questions over the phone and see patients promptly as part of VEG triage.
• Perform emergency examinations and procedures, including surgeries and diagnostics.
• Develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans and discuss options with clients.
• Prepare estimates and present to clients.
• Document medical records accurately and maintain patient history.
• Educate clients on aftercare, prevention, and value of tests.
• Collaborate with team and participate in continuous learning programs.
• Maintain a compassionate, customer-focused approach for pets and families.
• Contribute to a positive, mentorship-driven hospital culture.
