Job description

A well-regarded veterinary referral center near Washington DC is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team, working just 2 weeks out of every 6! Flexible scheduling allows working just 2 weeks out of every 6, with 7 days off between blocks of shifts. Guidance from senior doctors, including a Board Certified Criticalist and Medical Director, is available, along with support from a dedicated Hospital Manager who prioritizes employee well-being. This centrally located facility receives referrals from across the Mid-Atlantic region and offers specialty care in cardiology, emergency/critical care, internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, neurology, radiation oncology, medical oncology, and rehabilitative medicine with a licensed veterinary physical therapist. The center is equipped with an I-131 treatment center (Radiocat), ultrasound, digital radiography, linear accelerator, CT, and MRI unit. Additionally, the in-house diagnostic center provides rapid and accurate patient analytic data to support informed patient decisions.
