Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire.
• Active Veterinary State License.
• USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Perform thorough physical exams, diagnostic tests, and imaging to assess condition severity.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medical and surgical interventions.
• Work collaboratively with the veterinary team and support staff to ensure best outcomes.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and recommendations clearly with pet owners.
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate record-keeping of all medical procedures.
• Stay current with advances in emergency medicine and participate in ongoing education.
• Work swing and overnight shifts.

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Emergency Associate Veterinarian to join our team. As an ER Veterinarian, you will play a key role in managing critical and urgent care cases, working alongside a committed and well-trained team of veterinary professionals. However, experience in emergency care is not a requirement, as we provide strong mentorship and ongoing training for those eager to grow their skills in this area.
