Lubbock Small Animal Emergency Clinic is seeking a friendly receptionist to greet clients, check in/out patients, and manage front-desk operations in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience, are organized, empathetic, and comfortable multitasking while delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
• Must be compassionate and calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients and patients at the front desk.
• Answer calls, triage, and direct to appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments to optimize daily flow and patient care.
• Process payments and manage check-in/out procedures with empathy.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications

• Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experiencepreferred.
• Compassionate and calm team-player.
