Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Leesburg, VA is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced ER team. You will handle a wide range of emergencies, work with doctors, and provide gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care to pets and their families.

You’ll be involved in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while growing your skills and advancing your career at VEG.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) licensed in the VEG state.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician; emergency experience preferred.
• Proficient with practice management software and EMR systems.
• Excellent communicator under pressure; team player.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver compassionate care.
• Assist with ICU and emergency procedures, CPR readiness.
• Maintain patient and client communications during high-stress cases.
• Operate diagnostics and imaging and sample collection.
• Support training and mentorship for VEG teammates.
