Veterinary Emergency Group is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Part Time) in Brookhaven, GA. Join a team on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, delivering gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care to pets and their families during stressful moments.

You will participate in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while growing your skills and contributing to a supportive VEG culture that values learning and mentorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state of practice (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT).
• AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, and related therapies.
• Communicate with team to shape plans and keep care flowing.
• Perform CPR when needed and participate in RECOVER training.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection and tubing placement.
• Assist anesthesia for fragile patients and use advanced techniques.
