Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Emergency experience is required.
• 3 years of veterinary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, examinations, and diagnostic procedures.
• Assist during surgery and operations; provide nursing care and record-keeping.
• Maintain medical records and review care plans and records.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain inventory, sterilize instruments, and ensure clean holding and operating areas.
