Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Animal Emergency Clinic of San Diego in Poway, CA is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (Swing Shift) to support hospital operations with high-quality care for patients and clients. You will perform examinations, diagnostic procedures, assist during surgeries, maintain medical records, and communicate with pet owners.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $2,000 based on experience for credentialed techs; uncredentialed techs may qualify for up to $1,000.

Qualifications

• Emergency experience required.
• 3 years of veterinary experience preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, performing examinations, and diagnostic procedures.
• Assist during surgery and operations and provide nursing care.
• Maintain patient medical records and update the database accurately.
