Job summary

MSPCA-Angell is seeking experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisors for Angell Boston ECC and Night/Day shifts. The role focuses on mentoring staff, triage support, and delivering high‑quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Qualified candidates must be Certified Veterinary Technicians with supervisory experience. Competitive salary, generous benefits, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) required.
• Minimum 3 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Associates degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the hiring, training, and coaching and performance evaluation process for all ECC Service Staff.
• Create work schedules, prepare payroll, and process personnel records for Inpatient Service Staff.
• Must have a working knowledge of complex diseases in order to provide nursing care and develop and train member of the ECC team.
• Assist clinicians in triaging, stabilizing, and providing high quality nursing care to patients and offer instruction and demonstration to veterinary students, interns, residents, and other technicians.
