Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group in Redmond, WA is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Relief) to join our front-line team. This per diem role covers a variety of emergencies, requiring calm, precise care and strong communication with doctors, support staff, and pet parents.

You will participate in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while growing your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician in the state the VEG practice is located.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients with a range of emergencies from minor to complex.
• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
