Job summary

Veterinary Specialty Services in Manchester, MO is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced ER team. Shifts include day and evening hours with weekend coverage; non-exempt status; training and mentorship available.

You will triage critical patients, assist with diagnostics and treatments, monitor ICU patients, and maintain accurate records while delivering excellent client communication. Recent grads welcome for Technician Assistant pathway.

Qualifications

• Credentialed RVT/LVT/CVT or eligible is preferred.
• 1–2 years of veterinary technician or assistant experience required.
• Emergency setting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assist in the care of critical and emergency patients.
• Support veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor hospitalized patients, including those in ICU.
• Utilize advanced equipment and technology.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure client communication.
