The role offers a competitive starting pay ($25+/hr for RVT-trained technicians, $22+/hr for assistants) and a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general practice, emergency, specialty, or urgent care veterinary settings.
• RVT certification preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications, and assist during exams and surgery.
• Maintain medical records, triage patients, and ensure hospital sanitation.
• Monitor animals, support ICU procedures, and communicate with owners and team.
