You will support hospital operations with dedicated veterinary care and exceptional client service, handling patient assessments, exams, and nursing duties.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED; RVT certification is preferred, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in General Practice, Emergency, Specialty, or Urgent Care veterinary settings.
• Eligible age 18+ to work in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments through exams, interviews, and diagnostic testing.
• Provide hands-on care: taking vitals, collecting samples, administering medications, and treating wounds.
• Assist veterinarians during exams and surgical procedures.
• Prepare and dispense medications as directed; maintain medical records.
• Monitor patients and ensure clean, comfortable, hydrated conditions.
• Maintain hospital sanitation and sterilization standards.
• Manage inventory and order medical supplies.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners and the veterinary team.
