Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine.
• Some experience in Emergency, Specialty, or Urgent Care is required.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, care plans, records, labs, and imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, administering meds, vaccines, and wound care.
• Support examinations and operations by gathering supplies and restraining patients as directed.
• Provide care using anatomy, physiology, disease processes, pharmacology and equipment knowledge.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with pet owners about patient status.
