Westside Animal Emergency Clinic in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking PRN Veterinary Receptionists (Care Coordinators) to join our emergency team. The role blends front-desk care with clinical support, including triage, data entry, and patient handling in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, scheduling, assisting clinicians, processing payments, and maintaining records. Part-time and full-time options are available; evenings, weekends, and some holidays required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Veterinary experience: 1+ years (Required)
• Customer service experience: 2 years (Required)
• Computer literacy with typing skills
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Greet owners and patients
• Recognize life-threatening symptoms for immediate triage
• Answer multi-line phone system cheerfully
• Check clients in and out
• Assist techs and DVMs
• Organize and file records carefully
• Show compassion in emergencies
• Hold patients for exams, procedures, x‑rays, and comfort
• Handle payments accurately
• Scan, fax, and email records to RDVMs/Specialists
• Run lab work
• Help maintain a clean environment
