Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in triaging, IV catheters, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical prep.
• Experience with in-house labs (Idexx) and proper animal restraint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients and greet owners at arrival.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with medications and patient restraint.
• Perform lab tests and take radiographs as directed by staff.
• Maintain hospital equipment and assist with clerical duties as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly examination rooms and kennels.
• Support education for clients about wellness and insurance plans.
• Ensure accurate medical records and comply with safety regulations.
• Show up for PRN shifts with reliability and professionalism.
