You will manage invoices across hospital systems, coordinate with veterinary teams, and guide clients through payment plans and assistance options such as CareCredit and Scratchpay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience handling difficult conversations with clients in a veterinary setting.
• Strong understanding of billing, invoicing and payment collection processes.
• Excellent numerical and data entry skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial liaison for ER and ICU clients, presenting estimates and collecting deposits.
• Maintain accurate patient invoices across hospital systems and ensure correct charging.
• Collaborate with ER/ICU veterinarians to communicate financial plans and support care workflows.
• Provide financial updates for hospitalized patients and document conversations in the medical record.
• Educate clients on payment options, including CareCredit and Scratchpay, and assist with applications.
• Address billing questions and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Develop expertise in billing processes and promote best practices across teams.
