Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Treat each patient and customer with the highest level of compassion and care.
• Perform basic to intermediate nursing care tasks, patient monitoring, and treatments.
• Triage incoming patients using understanding of diseases and monitoring parameters.
• Administer/subcut, intramuscular, and IV medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Set up and monitor IV fluids and blood products.
• Collaborate as a team member for outpatient and inpatient care.
• Participate in patient rounds for continuity of care.
• Perform CPR as RECOVER Certified Rescuer.
• Collect samples and perform diagnostics and imaging.
• Assist with anesthesia under supervision.
• Place/remove urinary catheters and manage oxygen delivery systems.
• Work with licensed veterinary technicians as a nursing care team member.
• Seek growth through credentialing and leadership opportunities.
