Job summary

The City of Tucson Fire Department is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Technician Supervisor to oversee the repair and maintenance of ambulances and fire apparatus. You will supervise technicians, plan daily work, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and manufacturer requirements.

This role requires progressive ASE and EVT certifications with year-by-year milestones, plus strong safety training, quality inspections, and supervision in a busy, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Requires achievement of Tier 1 ASE Certifications within the first year

The Emergency Vehicle Technician Supervisor plans, coordinates and supervises the daily activities and work assignments of the technicians and staff involved in the repair and maintenance of the Fire Department's apparatus, ambulances and support equipment. Workflow is based on Tucson Fire Department policies, manufacturer requirements, and applicable NFPA standards.
