Job summary

Advocate Health's Atrium Health SouthPark Emergency Department in Charlotte is seeking a part-time ultrasound technologist to prioritize and coordinate ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians. Qualifications

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S) required.
• Graduate of a comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and coordinates ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians.
• Performs ultrasound exams in accordance to departmental protocols and standards.
• Provides adequate patient care as it relates to the exam requested.
• Operates ultrasound and associated equipment with proficiency.
