Job summary

Advocate Health's Pineville/Providence Emergency Department ultrasound team seeks a part-time, PRN ultrasound technologist. You will coordinate exams with nursing units and radiologists, perform ultrasound procedures, and ensure patient safety and care standards. The role supports ED imaging services across multiple facilities in Charlotte, NC.

Expect variable scheduling and on-call coverage. ARDMS/ARRT certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Certified ultrasound professional with ARDMS/ARRT credentials.
• Ability to coordinate exams with radiologists and nursing units.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate ultrasound exams with teams.
• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols.
• Assist radiologists and ensure quality of imaging.
• Maintain clean, stocked work area and report malfunctions.
• Operate radiology computer systems and document exams.
