Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a full-time Emergency Department triage professional for Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, GA. The position is 0.9 FTE with a 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

schedule and pays within the posted range. You will work in the ED alongside a skilled care team to assess and prioritize patients. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a Paramedic/EMT/LPN credential with state licensure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a college or technical school with a degree as a Paramedic, EMT or LPN.
• Licensed in the state as a Paramedic, EMT or LPN.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and families in triage and prioritize based on condition.
• Recognize age-specific emergencies and critically ill patients prior to triage.
• Respond to emergencies at the Emergency Center entrance and coordinate with team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication with the care team.
• Demonstrate professional behavior, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to high-stress situations.
