Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, GA seeks a compassionate registered nurse for the ED. The RN will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and therapeutic outcomes in line with standards, policies, and procedures.

ER experience is preferred; must have an accredited nursing program graduate, an active RN license in Georgia, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the practice occurs.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Emergency Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and strong communication to create a safe environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
