Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV, seeks an Emergency Medical Trauma Technician Basic (ETTB) to support the ED team. You will provide technical procedures, stock supplies, and perform unit clerk duties under supervision, ensuring safe, efficient patient care for diverse populations.

Collaborate with ED physicians and nurses, maintain equipment readiness, and complete required checklists and competency trainings to meet trauma pathway standards within Renown Health guidelines.

Qualifications

• Working-level English language required.
• Six months EMT or ED Tech experience preferred or completion of Renown program.
• Current Nevada EMT-B certification and NREMT in ACTIVE status within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical procedures within established competencies and scope in the ED.
• Stock the ED with supplies and equipment as a supply aide.
• Perform clerical duties and act as unit receptionist for the ED.
• Assist in trauma-related procedures and documentations as part of the ED team.
• Collaborate with ED physician and RN to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care.
