Job summary

IdahoPTV seeks a dedicated Training Specialist to develop and coordinate statewide IOEM-sponsored training events. You will prepare training materials, maintain records, and ensure comprehensive documentation for reporting and compliance.

The role requires traveling for training sessions and collaboration with multiple agencies, applying strong communication and organizational skills to support state-wide emergency management efforts.

Qualifications

• Must have 24 months of specialized experience related to IOEM training and management.
• Travel is required for training and job performance; willing to travel and stay at destinations.
• Strong written and oral communication; proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute projects involving multiple agencies and stakeholders.
• Experience processing training documents and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and execute statewide IOEM-sponsored training events.
• Prepare and maintain training materials, administrative documentation, records, and reports.
• Provide guidance to personnel and external customers on training opportunities.
• Manage personnel resource information and related planning activities.
