Job summary

BryceTech is seeking an Emergency Management Analyst to support FEMA’s Office of Emerging Threats (OET). The role emphasizes identifying, assessing, and informing FEMA and partners about evolving threats, spanning cyber, climate, and advanced weapons technologies, requiring strong analytics and cross‑agency collaboration.

The position involves developing briefings, presentations, and materials, maintaining the OET site, producing graphics and brochures, and helping prepare speeches and testimony

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust.
  • 4+ years of experience in FEMA, emerging threats, or policy analysis.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency with all MS Office product and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with FEMA Leadership, Public Affairs and Congressional Affairs as needed.
  • Create and distribute internal communications on CBRN policy issues and initiatives for FEMA senior leadership.
  • Develop briefings, presentations, reports, video, and graphics to support the OET Director or Management Team.
  • Provide support for periodic events and informal meetings.
  • Maintain, update, and develop the FEMA OET internal and external website as required.
  • Develop products such as brochures, kiosks, and visuals to showcase the Office mission.
  • Support graphics and messaging for FEMA/CBRN mission across social and official channels.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of articles for emergency publications.
  • Provide training and advisement to FEMA staff on regulations and threat analysis documents.
  • Research, analyze, and develop materials for speeches and testimony for FEMA senior leadership.
  • Draft periodic reports on relevant events for broad distribution across FEMA.
  • Ensure 508 compliance on contractor videos and documents.
