Description


Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required Qualifications:



  • 1 year relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred.

  • Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Upon hire: Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate
