Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center – Langhorne, PA, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an Emergency Technician for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).

Under RN supervision, you will support patient care in the Emergency Department, maintain equipment, and assist the healthcare team. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, obtaining vital signs, performing 12-lead EKGs and phlebotomy, coordinating diagnostics, and supporting trauma calls.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; BLS certification.
• EMT or Medical Assistant certification, or final year of nursing school.
• Prior Emergency Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN direction.
• Assist with procedures: specimen collection, ostomy care, glucose monitoring, and orthotic/protective devices.
• Obtain and record vital signs; assist with hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Perform 12-lead EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Communicate patient status to the RN promptly.
• Assist scheduling diagnostics and consultations.
• Participate in trauma calls and collaborate with the team during emergencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
