Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Nursing Support professional for the Emergency Department at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, IL. 36 hours per week, night shifts from 7p to 7a, with compensation aligned to experience.

Ideal candidates have 6 months acute care and emergency trauma exposure, EMT or CNA credentials, and BLS certification. High school diploma or GED required; vocational training a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in acute patient care.
• Preferred 6 months experience in emergency trauma care.
• EMT or CNA certification with BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support in the Emergency Department.
• Assist clinical staff in patient care.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort.

Pay Range:

$17.50 - $24.50

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or related vocational training is required.

Experience Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in an acute setting patient care role is required.
• 6 months of experience in emergency trauma care is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic, active enrollment in EMT Paramedic program with IV training completion or CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
