HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL is seeking a Nursing Support/Patient Care Assistant for the Emergency Department. This part-time night-shift role involves greeting patients, assisting staff, collecting specimens as needed, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Requires high school diploma or GED, BLS certification within 30 days, and EMT or CNA preferred. 1 year healthcare experience preferred. 24 hours per week.

Pay and Compensation

Pay Range: $17.50 - $24.50 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Position Overview

Performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Greets, assists, and directs patients and visitors and monitors activity to establish a friendly caring environment. Provides care for patients according to the standards of care specific to age and the individual's needs. May collect blood samples and process specimens. Maintains a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment.

Education & Experience
