Cook Children\'s in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Interpreter-Spanish to provide accurate face-to-face interpretation for patients, families, visitors, and staff during the first shift. The role requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, strong communication and confidentiality skills, and the ability to connect with diverse medical teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of healthcare experience and a willingness to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting with medical terminology knowledge.
• Previous interpretation/translation experience preferred.
• Spanish proficiency levels must be demonstrated via testing.

Mansioni

• Provide face-to-face interpretation for patients, families, visitors, and staff during designated hours.
• Act as a language liaison between patient, family, and staff to support the care plan.
• Coordinate interpreter services for non-Spanish languages via OPI or VRI as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate translation of medical information.
