Job summary

MoDOT seeks an Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator at the Joplin Maintenance Facility. Duties include operating snow plow and ice control vehicles, performing basic vehicle and equipment maintenance, and assisting with related grounds tasks under supervision.

Qualifications include 18+ years old, CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status, and successful background check and drug screen. Overtime and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic; performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
