Job summary

MoDOT's Lamar Maintenance Facility in Lamar, MO is hiring an Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator to perform routine snow removal duties under direct supervision. You will drive plow units, spread ice-control materials, and assist with vehicle and equipment upkeep in outdoor conditions.

Applicants must be at least 18, hold CDL Class A or B with valid air brake status, and pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI)
• Background check and drug screen required

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned
