Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an Emergency Services Technician to support patient care and assist with clinical procedures. You will work with a team to ensure safe care, patient experience, and efficient operations in an off-campus ED setting.

The position requires CNA/NA-R/MA-P/MA-C or EMT credentials, plus current BLS. Prior ED or acute care experience is preferred. Flexible shifts and a commitment to compassionate care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• WA state CNA/NA-R/MA-P/MA-C or EMT licensure/certification.
• MA-P or EMT to obtain NA-R within 180 days of hire.
• CNA/NA-R/EMT must obtain MA-P by date; Yakima location may not require MA-P.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Recent emergency department or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitioner.
• Engage critical thinking to maintain a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care for diverse patients.
