Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an Emergency Services Technician Lab for the Off Campus Emergency Department, nights, assisting practitioners with patient care and clinical procedures while supporting administrative tasks.

You will work in collaboration with a skilled team to ensure safe care, patient experience and efficient processes. This role requires licensure readiness and current BLS, with a focus on diverse patient care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain WA MA-P/NA-R licensure within 120 days.
• Experience with phlebotomy and initiating EKG preferred.
• Previous ED/corpsman/EMT/phlebotomist in last 3 years.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• You will perform direct patient care as directed.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment with critical thinking.
• Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
