Job summary

Six Flags Great Adventure is seeking an Emergency Services Coordinator to audit Safety regulatory compliance across the park and assist the EMS team as needed. You will participate in fire protection duties and coordinate with public safety leadership.

The role requires handling fire-related calls, conducting regular safety inspections, educating staff, and maintaining safety documentation. A valid driver's license and multiple certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• NJ Firefighter 1 Certified and EMS certifications are required.
• ICS 100, IS-700 and IS-800 familiarity is expected.
• ICS 200.c completion is required in-person.
• EMT-B Certification and CPR Certification must be current.
• Strong written and verbal communication, public speaking skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire-related calls for service as part of the Fire Brigade.
• Conduct and record safety audits and inspections regularly.
• Assess safety risks during projects and analyze safety procedures.
• Educate employees on safety standards and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for improving workplace safety.
• Investigate onsite accidents and identify possible causes.
• Maintain documentation of safety procedures and events.
• Act as liaison between the Park and fire/EMS agencies.
• Maintain Safety Department equipment and facilities.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist as needed.
• Complete tasks from Emergency Services Supervisor or Public Safety leadership.
