Job summary

Six Flags Great Adventure is seeking an Emergency Services Coordinator to inspect and audit Safety regulatory compliance across the property. The role also involves participation in Fire Protection and EMS team support as needed.

The position entails responding to fire-related calls, conducting regular safety inspections, and liaising with external agencies. A comprehensive set of certifications and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid drivers license at all times.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• NJ Firefighter 1 Certified.
• ICS 100 (Introduction to ICS).
• ICS 200.c (ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents).
• IS-700 (National Incident Management System).
• IS-800 (National Response Framework).
• Current EMT-B Certification (NJ State or Nationally Certified).
• Current and Valid CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire-related calls for service as part of the Fire Brigade.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly throughout Six Flags properties.
• Conduct safety inspections before or during projects to analyze safety risks.
• Educate employees on safety standards and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
• Investigate accidents onsite and identify possible causes of the accident.
• Maintain documentation of safety procedures, accidents and events.
• Act as liaison between the Park and external partners (fire/EMS agencies).
• Maintain all Safety Department equipment and facilities.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist as needed.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors.

• Complete any task assigned by the Emergency Services Supervisor, Public Safety Supervisor, or Public Safety Manager
