St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Services Nursing Manager to lead the ED team and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, and compliance with standards while driving evidence-based practice and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BSN required and active RN license in TX or compact state.
• MSN preferred with leadership experience in ED health care.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience in a supervisory role.
• Specialty certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire; BLS current.
• Texas RN license renewal within timelines for Texas practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the emergency department.
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care per policies and standards.
• Lead evidence-based practices to improve safety and outcomes.
• Drive efficiency, accountability, and transparency in care delivery.
• Support accreditation, benchmarks and regulatory compliance.
• Manage admissions and discharges for throughput and quality.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and staff development.
• Promote exceptional patient experience and service leadership.
