Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital seeks a Nurse Manager to oversee unit operations, staffing, and daily patient care. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while upholding facility policies and clinical outcomes. The role requires active RN licensure, 1+ year of nursing experience, and time-bound certifications.

The Manager collaborates with leadership to support staffing, education, and quality initiatives, ensuring safe, efficient care delivery in a large hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice or an active compact license
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; BSN preferred
• 1+ year of applicable nursing experience
• ACLS/BLS and crisis intervention certifications within specified timeframes (as applicable)
• PALS and TNCC certifications within required timeframes

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the unit/department
• Monitor and evaluate quality and clinical outcomes in line with policies
• Ensure staff accountability for patient safety and outcomes
• Support staff development and safe, patient-centered care delivery
