Job summary

OU Medical Center Edmond is seeking an Emergency Services Manager for the Edmond ED, full-time, day shift (8 AM – 4 PM). You will oversee nursing operations, quality initiatives and budget management while upholding OU Health values and ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role requires RN licensure in Oklahoma, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and 3–5 years of leadership experience, with Master's preferred. BLS certification is required upon hire, with leadership certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's in Nursing is preferred.
• 3–5 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Current RN license in Oklahoma or eNLC with residency within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Nursing leadership or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for clinical care and departmental performance.
• Lead quality initiatives to promote safety and reduce bias.
• Develop and update performance improvement tools and reports.
• Manage department budget and resources.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to uphold OU Health values.
• Coach and develop staff; provide feedback and recognition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
