Job summary

New Solutions is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for the Emergency Services department at our partner hospital in Alabama. The leader will provide strategic and operational oversight, drive patient outcomes, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective care.

The role requires a BSN, Alabama RN licensure, and at least 5 years of progressive leadership in emergency services. Strong budgeting, data interpretation, and multidisciplinary collaboration are essential, with BLS/ACLS certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Current or eligible for Alabama RN licensure.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships.
• Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in an acute care setting.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and performance-improvement initiatives.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (or obtainable within a defined timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Services department.
• Develop and implement innovative programs to improve patient outcomes and ensure cost-effective care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to enhance clinical performance and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for providers and staff.
• Oversee staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.
