Erickson Senior Living in Charlestown, MD, is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Assistant Supervisor for the 12 Hour Night Shift (0700–1900). You will lead safety operations, patrols, incident reports, and gatehouse oversight to ensure secure, compliant community operations.

The role requires at least 1 year in public safety supervision, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to supervising a team while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience.
• Current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property and staffing of the gatehouse; respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce parking and traffic regulations.
• Ensure the completion of daily shift reports and incident reports (medical response, theft of property, accidents, fires, serious malfunctions, emergencies, and violations).
• Screen visitors, vendors, etc. at the gatehouse.
• Supervisory responsibilities: assist in training, coaching, and counseling of employees; provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct & indirect reports; monitor team and reinforce safety practices.

In this role, you will enforce regulations, manage incident reports, and provide leadership, training, and support to the team to ensure smooth and safe operations.

How You Will Make An Impact
