Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Ashby Ponds community in Loudoun County, Virginia, is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Assistant Supervisor to lead the safety team, enforce regulations, and manage incident reports. Day and night shifts are available, and you will provide leadership, training, and support to the team to ensure smooth and safe operations.

This role requires at least 1 year of public safety supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and being at least 18.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property, staffing the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce parking and traffic regulations.
• Ensure the completion of daily shift reports and incident reports (medical, theft, accidents, fires, emergencies, violations).
• Screen visitors and vendors at the gatehouse.
• Assist in training, coaching, and counseling of employees.
• Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports.
• Monitor team and reinforce safety practices.

Join our team as a Security and Emergency Services Assistant Supervisor, where you will lead by example in overseeing the safety and security of our community. In this role, you will enforce regulations, manage incident reports, and provide leadership, training, and support to the team to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Day and Night shifts are available.

Compensation: ranges from $23.30/hour - $28.50/hour, plus $2/hour night shift differential when applicable.

How you will make an impact

• Screen visitors, vendors, etc. at the gatehouse
• Assist in training, coaching, and counseling of employees
• Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct & indirect reports
• Monitor team throughout the day and reinforces safety practices

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience
• Current and valid driver's license
